The Jones Family
Cypress, Texas
I'm so glad we finally made this session come together! I thoroghly enjoyed photographing this lovely family and their two girls are just sweet as pie. And cute, too! And well behaved! And cooperative! Ok, I'll stop but I could keep going on. It was a race against time as we watched the sun finally come out but then go just as quickly but I'm so happy with the results of our patience. I can't wait to work with you guys again!

They are no strangers to my camera and the blog as we've done previous photography sessions for them including a Christmas session and a very unique silly session! Stephanie and Brian and the kiddos always keep me entertained as I'm able to catch a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes action to make each other laugh. I most definitely enjoy and appreciate their "we'll do anything!" attitude!

(11.28.10 @ 10:49 PM)Megan and Brad's Portrait Session
Houston, Texas
Any reason is a good reason to schedule a portrait session. Megan and Brad had been wanting to schedule a session for a while and we finally made it happen this fall. We split the session between a nature setting and then the city life. I've said it before: I love when the clients give me full freedom and are willing to do whatever comes to my mind. They even braved the oncoming downtown traffic and the lightrail as it whizzed by just to get the night shots! Thanks for being so willing to try anything!

If they seem familiar to you it's because they are. Look back at yesterday's blog post and the one from last week and a few months back and a few years back. I'm enjoying photographing this family and watching these kiddos grow!
To say that this session was uneventful would be a lie. The weather was perfect but then so many unexpected things happened that would have caused some people to stop and say, "I think we're done, can we start over on a different day?" But they were troopers and we finished the session amidst the chaos. Thanks for sticking it out!
A father-son moment
And of course a mommy-daughter moment
Yes, the trademark "walking away" shot ;)
Daddy and his little girl
Mommy and her little boy
Awwww, what a sweet moment!
He was finally given his prize for being a good boy
No sibling rivalry here!
Here we are in mid-temper tantrum, which you can tell by his postrate position.
A different angle of the walking-away shot.

Not gonna lie, they are a beautiful family!!

We've seen lots of the little ones on the blog but now it's time for the grown-ups to have their turn. This family photography session was given as a gift to the grandparents for Christmas - not a bad idea! We met up at Hermann Park and captured several family group photographs but I'm sure you're more interested in seeing some of the moments captured in between. These kiddos kept everyone entertained!
They love their little princess
Someone didn't want to be in the picture.....
And now two someones didn't want to be in the picture.
And now play time for the aunt and uncles
