Baby Crutcher's Newborn Session

This little lady wasn't too excited about being photographed but thankfully I was able to catch a few shots of her. It's so hard being a little baby! Her older 6 month old cousin was on hand to watch and to give her some tips that she also learned from HER newborn session 6 months ago. This little ladies are sure to be great friends as they grow up together.

I loved hearing the story about how mom and dad had made the decision to adopt and how they ended up with this little beauty. She was a little champ during her newborn photography session just days after going home from the hospital and we all worked great as a team to get these amazing shots!

 

Tips for your future newborn sessions:

***Have everything ready (hats, blankets, etc.) so that the session can move along smoothly.

***Feed your baby fully before I arrive so that they'll have a full tummy and will sleep through the session.

***We may need to stop for a smaller second feeding so keep a bottle ready for that moment.

***Keep a pacifier very hand!

This precious little one was a joy to work with even though she didn't fall asleep for us as we had planned. She's very loved, not only by her mommy and daddy, but also by so many friends and family that threw her so many showers before her arrival. She's a lucky little girl.

It's always fun to reconnect with old high school friends and then to meet their family. All I can say is, "Wow, we're not kids anymore!" This little one's mom was a fellow flute player when we were in high school and it was fun to catch up and see how things are going. So, we all love pictures of sleeping babies because they're just so cute. But Little Miss M was NOT going to give us the pleasure of watching her sleep. But we did manage to get some stinkin' cute pictures of her anyways.

Welcome the newest addition to the Kelley family! Soon enough she'll be playing alongside her big brother and taking his toys but he doesn't know it yet. Mom and dad and grandparents were all there for her first photoshoot just like they were there for big brother's arrival to this world. I can't wait to watch her grow as I did with her brother!
