Chelsea's Senior Session

The Woodlands, Texas

 

So much time, thought and planning went into Chelsea's senior session and I was looking forward to it so much! When I met her and her mom back in the summer I knew she was a sweet and adorable young lady and I'd only been told that she was a talented singer and songwriter and then I got to hear her sing and now I KNOW that she is a talented singer and songwriter. What I really loved about this session is the effort that was made to make this session unique to really show who Chelsea is. Chelsea, mom, and dad - I loved working with you guys!! It's truly been an enjoyable experience and such a blessing to me. Thank you so much!! 

A note to future seniors: put some effort into planning for your senior session so that you can have unique and memorable senior photographs. If you don't want to look like everyone else figure out how you can stand out.

My latest trend lately has been to photograph the younger sibling after photographing the older one two years ago and the same is true for Zane. I first met his family when we photographed his older sister Anna's senior session two years ago and now it's Zane's turn. If you follow me on twitter then you may recall that I mentioned one of his recent achievements: "Have to brag: one of my high school senior clients placed 25th in the world level Irish dance competition in Scotland. So proud!" You can see him in action in a few of his shots down below. They're such a fun family to work with and now I'm sad that there are no more seniors left in their family to photograph :( Maybe Wonton wants some headshots?? ;)

I love photographing high school seniors and I love it even more when they personalize their session. I met Marielle and her mother and I could immediately tell they were going to make the session special. We ended up at two different places with several horses on hand. Yes, the horses were beautiful, but Marielle's eyes are amazing! Ladies, thanks for a great session!
